Here is a statement from the city on the adoption of its strategic plan. Follow the link below to an executive summary of the plan.
"A little over a year ago, the City of Mill Creek embarked on its first strategic planning process. The purpose of the Strategic Plan is to establish a road map for City decisions, ensuring Mill Creek’s quality of life is maintained for its residents and businesses.
"At its April 10, 2012, meeting, the City Council adopted the Strategic Plan, which includes a list of implementation action items designed to achieve the City’s goals. The City Council would like to thank the citizens and business community members for their interest and participation in the City’s strategic planning process. Many community members took the time to visit and explore the website to learn more about the Strategic Plan, participated in the July 2011 telephone survey, visited with City staff and took the Penny Poll at one of the many public outreach events, attended one or more of the Open Houses, or provided comments on the draft Plan, and the City appreciates your interest and input.
"Now that the Strategic Plan is adopted, the work of the City Council and Staff will just be starting as the action items identified in the Plan are implemented. For further information, please visit the City’s webpage, www.cityofmillcreek.com, for upcoming City Council agendas, project updates, and other new information."
