Mill Creek City Council has approved the formation of a Senior Center Advisory Group to review all options with the goal of developing a Senior Center for the Mill Creek area.
The advisory group will be made up of three Councilmembers, two Senior Center Foundation boardmembers and two Citizen-at-Large positions. The City Council is looking for citizens who are interested in establishing a senior center, but have had no involvement in the process in the last three months. The City Council will review all letters of interest and make the selection at a future Council meeting.
Persons interested in volunteering should send a letter of interest to:
Kelly M. Chelin, City of Mill Creek, 15728 Main Street, Mill Creek, WA 98012, facsimile 425-745-9650, or by email at Kelly@cityofmillcreek.com, or deliver to City Hall no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2008.
